Alibaug Villa Garden - 01
The garden is an extension of a holiday home in Alibaug. The design is characterised by a controlled palette of plant material that are combined as layered clumps. These clumps have been arranged to create smaller walkways, niches that hold seating or sculpture, or highlighting a particular tree. The client - being a gardening enthusiast is also a lover of art. The organic form allows the client also to add and minus small pieces of art as she goes on collecting them.
